 02  Can I add my business to the living.BLACK.business.network directory?

Yes. As long as you meet the following criteria:

  • Your business is at least 50% Black Owned
  • Your business is NOT a part of a MLM, Multi Level Marketing System or network marketing system
  • You business listing information is complete and accurate.  All businesses must include contact information including business address

 03  Can I list an MLM business in the living.BLACK.business.network Directory?

Due to the similarities of Multi Level Marketing (MLM) businesses and pyramid schemes, we do not allow MLM busnesses to list with us.

 

 

 04  Are all the businesses listed on this site owned by African Americans?

​

Yes, any business listed must be owned at least partially by an African American, and we will make every effort to verify that information to be true.

 

 

 

 05  What happens if a business is listed and it’s not owned by an African American?

​

If you find that a listed business is not owned by an African American, please let us know. We will make an attempt to verify the ownership of the business. If the owner meets the qualifications then it will remain listed. If the owner does not meet the qualifications then the business will be deleted from the site.

 

 

 

 06  Do I have to be a business owner in order to list a business in the living.BLACK.business.network directory?

Yes, you have to be a business owner to list a business, but you do not need to be a business owner to join the networking/social platform. If you want to have a business listed which is not your own, you can forward the information to our administrator by email here.

 

 

 

 07  Can home based businesses be listed in the living.BLACK.business.network directory?

Yes, as long as it is a legal business and black owned.

 

 

 

 08  Does it cost money to list a business with the living.BLACK.business.network?

​

No. There is no cost to list a business with the living.BLACK.business.network.

 

 

 09  How long will it take for my listing to show up on the living.BLACK.business.network directory?

It varies depending on how busy our administrators are. It may be as short as a few minutes or as long as a few days, we are always continuing to work hard to keep the site updated and accessible.

 

 

 

 10  What if I have a bad experience at a business listed on your site?

The owner of the business that has the listing will also provide a means to contact the owner or management. There you will be able to relay your complaint or you may contact our site admin and we will try to contact them on your behalf.  We also have a review and comment section for each business and we encourage honest and productive feedback.

 

 

 

 11  What if I have a good experience with a business on your site?

Spread the word!  Leave a positive review and rate the business here on our site.  Tell all your friends and family!  The owner of the business that has the listing will also provide a means to contact the owner or management. There you will be able to relay your complaint or you may contact our site admin and we will try to contact them on your behalf.

Our goal is to bridge the gap between black business owners and conscious consumers, by providing visibility to the business and feedback from the customers. No, livingbbn.com is not a racist site, we provide a service for which there is a demand. Some consumers are looking specifically for black businesses and our services make them easier to find.
